We are looking for a Freelance WordPress Website Designer to support our growing website team. This role focuses on building and launching WordPress websites using modern page builders such as Divi, Elementor, or similar frameworks.
You will work closely with our Director of Website Development and Creative Director to bring client websites to life, implement design revisions, and ensure websites launch smoothly and perform well.
This is a freelance role ideal for designers who enjoy building clean, responsive websites within an agency environment.
- Build and launch WordPress websites using page builders such as Divi, Elementor, and similar frameworks
- Implement designs and layouts based on provided creative direction
- Ensure websites are responsive and optimized across desktop, tablet, and mobile
- Execute content updates, layout adjustments, and design revisions
- Collaborate with internal team members to ensure projects move forward efficiently
- Perform quality assurance checks and link audits prior to website launches
- Assist with ongoing website updates and improvements for existing client websites
- Strive to stay up to date with the latest technology, software & AI tools to keep ahead of website development trends and changes
- Strong experience both developing and designing websites in WordPress
- Experience with page builders such as Divi, Elementor, or similar
- Ability to create responsive layouts and maintain visual consistency across devices
- Strong attention to detail and ability to execute designs accurately
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with internal teams
- Experience with advanced HTML / CSS adjustments
- Familiarity with Figma, Adobe XD and other design files
- Experience working within a digital marketing or web design agency
- Shopify experience is a plus!
